Bake Tezos
Delegate address: tz1ei4WtWEMEJekSv8qDnu9PExG6Q8HgRGr3
We collect only 10% of the rewards, and you receive 90% of the delegation rewards. Our fee is competitive compared to typical Tezos bakers, which often charge between ~5–20% of rewards.
See the Important Notices section for the latest announced key changes to our Baking Service.
You will receive your rewards after the completion of each baking cycle. Reward distributions can be confirmed and tracked through TzStats, the Tezos block explorer.

Tezos now offers two flexible ways to participate in the network and earn rewards with your XTZ tokens: delegation and staking. Both help secure Tezos and earn rewards — but they work differently and offer different reward levels and trade-offs.
Delegation means assigning your Tezos (XTZ) to a baker (like BakeTZ) so they can use your stake to help secure the network. Your XTZ never leaves your wallet — you retain full control and can spend them anytime.
Key Points:
Rewards are earned based on your share of the baker’s total stake.
Bakers distribute rewards after fees according to their payout policy.
👉 Delegation is ideal for users who want easy passive income with full liquidity.
Staking is a newer Tezos feature (added to the protocol in 2024) that lets you lock your XTZ as part of a baker’s stake to earn higher rewards directly from the protocol.
Key Points:
You must delegate first to stake (delegation always comes first).
Staked XTZ stays in your account but is temporarily locked during unstaking.
Staking rewards are credited directly to your wallet, without waiting for the baker to distribute them.
Staking rewards are generally higher — up to ~3× what you get from delegation (before baker fees).
Unstaking (unlocking) takes about 4 cycles (~4 days) before your funds become liquid again.
👉 Staking is ideal if you want to maximize earning potential and are comfortable with a short lock period.
Get a Supported Wallet — Use a wallet like Temple, Kukai, or Umami.
Connect to Tezos Staking App — Visit the official staking portal at stake.tezos.com.
Delegate to BakeTZ — Choose BakeTZ as your baker.
Choose Between Delegating or Staking — You can delegate only, or proceed to stake for higher rewards.
Earn Rewards — Delegation rewards come via the baker; staking rewards accrue directly.
Q: Do I lose my Tezos when I stake it?
A: No — your XTZ remains in your wallet, but the amount you stake becomes temporarily locked and cannot be spent until after the unstaking delay.
Q: Is staking safe?
A: Yes — staking rewards are distributed by the protocol. However, if your baker misbehaves, staked XTZ can be slightly penalized (slashed). This is rare on Tezos.
Q: Can I switch bakers?
A: Yes — but if you’re staked, changing bakers triggers an unstake, and you must wait for the unstaking delay before staking again.
Q: Do I still need to delegate?
A: Yes — delegation is required before staking.
Earn Passive Income: Help secure the Tezos network while earning rewards on idle XTZ.
Flexible Options: Choose between liquid delegation or higher-yield staking.
Stay in Control: Your XTZ always stays in your wallet.
Support Decentralization: More stakers and delegators mean a stronger, more decentralized network.
